Allgemein bin ich kein grosser Freund von Ratschlägen. (Das Leben ist zu kurz, um so manches nicht selber auszuprobieren.) So hege ich auch eine tiefe Skepsis gegenüber jeglicher Art von Ratschlagebüchern. Eine Ausnahme mache ich aber für "Parisian Chic. A Style Guide." Wohl lernt frau da nicht gerade revolutionär neue Kleidungsgrundsätze kennen- nie Lederjacke und Bikerboots zusammen tragen - dafür ist es ein ideales Büchlein für den verregneten Sonntag auf dem Sofa, zusammen mit Maccarons. Generally I'm not a huge lover of advices. (Life is too short to not try certain things for yourself.) So I also entertain a deep scepticism towards all kinds of advice books. I'm going to make an exception though for "Parisian Chic. A Style Guide." No doubt the female species won't be learning revolutionary new principles on how to dress- don't ever wear a leather jacket and biker boots at the same time - but it is an ideal little book for a rainy Sunday on the sofa, some maccarons at hand.
