Die Elektrolyten / The Electrolytes

  

"Das nervt doch hier", patzte es aus ihm heraus, "das nervt doch, mein Gott, guck dir die Scheisse doch mal an" [es geht um die Sonntagsfrühstücker in den Restauraunts], und irgendwie bedauerte er es, dass er das so sagte, dass es so hart heraus kam, das klingt so negativ, das kann man jetzt bei Karl nicht bringen, dachte er, man müsste positiver sein, irgendwie besser gelaunt, dachte Herr Lehmann."

Ohne allzu pietätlos wirken zu wollen, möchte ich euch gerne eines meiner Lieblingsbücher ans Herz legen. Die Tage sind vollgepackt mit Pflichten und Vergnügungen, deshalb schaffe ich es leider nicht mehr allzu oft in die Bibliothek. Daher zog ich mal wieder "Herr Lehmann" von Sven Regener aus dem Regal. Ich lachte, schmunzelte und grinste beim Lesen nur so vor mich hin. Genau das Richtige, um den Montagabend genüsslich zu zelebrieren.  Denn, nach all diesen apokalyptischen Meldungen, ist bei mir heute mal etwas Eskapismus angesagt. Übrigens, die Verfilmung ist auch okay, sag ich jetzt mal. Wünsch einen schönen Abend.

"This is annoying here", it burst out of him, "this is annoying, my god, take a look at this shit" [it's about the Sunday breakfast eating people in restaurants], and somehow he regretted that he said it in that way, that it came out in such a harsh way, that sounds so negative, you can't be like that with Karl at the moment, he thought, one needs to be more positive, in a somehow better mood, thought Mister Lehmann."

Without trying to come across too impious I would like to warmly recommend one of my favourite books to you. The days are packed with chores and pleasures, that is why unfortunately I don't get to go to the library too often. Hence I picked out Sven Regener's "Herr Lehmann" (Mister Lehmann) from my shelf. I laughed, smiled and grinned so much while reading. Just the right thing to pleasurably celebrate my Monday night. Cause, after all these apocalyptic news, it's time for some escapism for me tonight. By the way, the film is also okay, I would say. Wishing you a lovely night.
