Als ehemalige Vegetarierin und heutige Teilzeitcarniborin mutiere ich jeweils an Weihnachten zu einer ultra radikalen Veganerin. So lustig es auch klingen mag, aber mir tuen einfach diese Tannenbäume leid, die man nur wegen ein paar Tagen fällt & dann einfach wegschmeisst. (Und ich weiss, in anbetracht der Tatsache, dass täglich Menschen an Hunger sterben, ist es fast obszön, sich über solche Dinge Gedanken zu machen... )Also, jedes Jahr die gleiche Zwickmühle. Aber diese wunderschöne Holztanne wird dem ein Ende setzen. Leider erst nächstes Jahr, aber dieser eine "echte" Christbaum wird mir das Karma ja wohl noch verzeihen. Wünsch frohe Festtage! /
* As a former vegetarian and part-time carnivore, around Christmas I become an ultra radical vegan. It might sound funny, but, I feel so sorry for those trees, that get cut down only to have them for a few days & to then throw them away. (And, I know, considering the fact that every day people die of hunger, it's almost obscene to even think about such things... )So, every year the same predicament. But this wonderful wooden tree will stop this ongoing dilemma. Unfortunately it won't be till next year, but this one "real" Christmas Tree will hopefully be forgiven by my karma.
