Für alle, die sich partout nicht für Abseitsfallen, Freistösse und nationale Freudentaumel begeistern können, empfehle ich den Film Marcello, Marcello (allen anderen natürlich auch). Er ist eine leichtfüssige Liebeskomödie im charmanten 50er Jahre Dekor, welcher auf einer kleinen italienischen Insel spielt. Der Film handelt von Marcello, einem sympathischen Jugendlichen, der sich unsterblich in die umschwärmte Tochter des Bürgermeisters verliebt hat. Um seine Gunst zu gewinnen (und dadurch ein Abend mit seiner Tochter verbringen zu können), muss Marcello ihm das ultimative Geschenk überreichen. Eine amüsante Odyssee beginnt, welche gespickt ist mit skurillen Begegnungen. Zwar ist die Handlung etwas kitschig, dafür umso herzerwärmender! Wünsch euch ein schönes Wochenende!
For those of you who aren't at all interested in offside traps, free kicks and national ecstasy, I can recommend the film Marcello, Marcello (for everyone else, too). It's a lighthearted romantic comedy in a charming 50's decor, set on a small Italian island. The plot is about Marcello, a likeable youngster, who has fallen madly in love with the very-popular-with-guys daughter of the mayor. To win his favour (and to then get to spend an evening with his daughter), Marcello needs to hand him the ultimate gift. An amusing odyssey takes its course, peppered with bizarre encounters. The plot being a bit cheesy, it makes it all the more heartwarming! Have a nice weekend!
