Ehrlich gesagt, ich bin kein Freund von Jugendherbergen. Zum einen, weil man ab einem gewissen Alter Orte vermeiden sollte, in denen das Wort Jugend - sprich Teenagers- vorkommt. Also Sachen wie Jugendkultur, Jugendklub (sollte man auch nicht hingehen, wenn man Jung ist) oder Jugendsprache. Zum anderen habe ich die Phase der Abenteuer hungrigen Rucksacktouristin hinter mir gelassen. Seither suche ich das "echte" Leben der Einheimischen lieber auf der Strasse und schlafe in einem gemütlichen Bett, ohne Ekelfaktor. Aber da ich Pecunia, die Göttin des Geldes, in letzter Zeit zu wenig geehrt habe, bleibt mir für meinen Kurztrip nach Paris, nichts anders übrig, als in einem solchen Etablisament zu nächtigen. Hermes scheint mir aber dagegen gut gesinnt zu sein und so entdeckte ich zwei hübsche Jugendherbergen in Paris, zu unschlagbaren Konditionen. Weniger als 100 Franken pro Nacht für ein hübsches Zimmer, mit Bad & TV in Montmartre. Frau legt ja auch Wert auf eine schöne Umgebung. Falls der Reisegott mich nicht hinterlistig betrogen hat, werde ich ihm zu ehren auch ein gleichnamiges Carré posten. Zumindest, sofern ich eins auf dem Floh- oder Schwarzmarkt entdecke.
Da es im Oops Hostel Paris (www.oops-paris.com) keinen Platz mehr für mich hatte, werde ich
hier schlafen: Caulaincourt square Hotel Paris: (www.caulaincourt.com). Ich weiss, es ist nicht das Ritz und verträumter Pariser Chic sieht anders aus. Aber zumindest haben sie tolle Tapeten.
Oh, wie ich mich auf die kleinen Klubs an der Seine freue.
To be honest I am no friend of youth hostels. First of all, after a certain age, you should avoid places where the word youth occurs - teenager. Therefore things such as youth culture, youth club or youth language. The other thing is, I left the phase of the adventure seeking backpackertourist behind me. Since then I seek "real" life on the street and sleep in a cozy bed, without disgust factor. But since I honoured Pecunia, the goddess of money, too little, there's nothing left for the shorttrip to Paris than this kind of establishment to spend the night in. On the other hand, Hermes seems well-disposed towards me and so I discovered two pretty youth hostels in Paris, to unbeatable conditions. Less than 100 francs per night for a pretty room, with bath & TV in Montmartre. Women also set a high standard when it comes to beautiful surroundings, don't they? If the God of travelling did not cunningly deceive me, I'll be buying one of the same named scarfs to honour him. That's if I discover one on the flea or black market.Because there was no room in the Oops Hostel Paris (www.oops-paris.com) left for me, I'll sleep here: Caulaincourt square hotel Paris: (www.caulaincourt.com).
